As a veteran World of Warcraft player, I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of the 3rd expansion – World of Warcraft Cataclysm. This expansion is the boldest and most dramatic yet with so many great new features. As I am a big fan of leveling new characters, the two most significant changes in WoW Cataclysm for me are the revamping of the classic zones of the original game and the introduction of two new classes – the Alliance Worgen and Horde Goblin. That means a ton of new quests and 5 more levels to gain for my existing characters.

I’m on the lookout for a comprehensive World of Warcraft Cataclysm guide and I know I’ll be able to trust Killer Guides WoW Cataclysm guide to get to level 85 in the shortest time possible. The quest-by-quest and zonal leveling guidelines will be invaluable for both my old and new characters. I’ll also be able to find in-depth walkthroughs for completing the different instances and end-game raids added in the expansion

If you also want more than just leveling walkthroughs for both Alliance and Horde but to discover an abundance of other precious knowledge for quickly mastering the new challenges of WoW Cataclysm then I would recommend getting hold of this quality Cataclysm guide before the release. The Cataclysm guide is available for pre-order so that players can enter this brave new world armed with the knowledge to get the most of all the new experiences on offer.

The World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion will also open up new areas for exploration and questing. There will be new foes to conquer and new factions to gain reputation with for big rewards. Here is an introduction to the new areas planned for the Cataclysm expansion. Information on the zones is being released on a regular basis giving players a taste of what is to come and here is what we have been told so far:

  • The Sunken City of Vashj’ir (level 78-82) This area is south of the Maelstrom and for the first time there is an entire zone beneath the sea! This promises new challenges for WoW Cataclysm players questing underwater and special underwater mounts to assist them The zone also contains the entrance to two new 5 man dungeons in the Abyssal Maw.
  • Mount Hyjal (level 78-82) has the new world tree, Nordrassil. Ragnaros is here with his armies trying to destroy the new World Tree. This area also contains the entrance to the Firelands – a new outdoor raid.
  • Uldum (level 80-84) is a vast desert zone south of Un’goro Crater. It will take up the southern coast of Kalimdor and a part of the old Ahn’Qiraj zone. There will also be two of the first instances players will encounter in the Cataclysm expansion.
  • Deepholm (level 82-84): This newly opened continent is situated far below the Skywall and is a central zone similar to Dragonblight. The zone is regularly hit by earthquakes and volcanos. This is Deathwing’s cavernous domain so expect to battle his elemental allies.
  • Twilight Highlands (84-85): This zone is is the new land of the Twilight Hammer, previously seen in Silithus. This is also where Grim Batol will be located, a new raid and a dungeon.
  • Gilneas (1-15) Located on the peninsula south of Silverpine Forest, this will be the Worgen starter zone.
  • Isle of Kezan, Lost Isles (1-15) Located in the South Seas, this will be the WOW Goblin starter zone.
  • Tol Barad Island: A new outdoor pvp zone very similar to Wintergrasp in Northrend. The island will also be a major daily quest hub. Whichever side controls the prison on Tol Barad will gain access to more dailies with even better rewards.

With so many new areas to conquer, a WoW Cataclysm guide will be essential. Killer Guides are producing a comprehensive Cataclysm guide so players can level their characters to 85 as quickly as possible, ready for the new raid content. Full details of the new zones, quest walk-throughs and maps will be included. It is available for pre-order so get yourself ready now to face the new dangers more effectively than your counterparts!

I am really excited about revamping of the world of Azeroth in the new WOW Cataclysm expansion. Some of you will be leveling in the current zones to be ready with a level 80 character prepared to tackle the expansion, others will be eagerly awaiting the changes to level a new alt. Here is the latest information on the upheaval facing the current World of Warcraft zones.

Deathwing, the new nemesis for World of Warcraft is the actual “catalyst” to the whole World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion. He will re-emerge from his banishment in the hidden Plane of Earth and his return will change the face of Azeroth…forever.

Some of the major changes you can look forward to are:

  • The Barrens has been split in two with one area for high-level players and one area for low-level players. Portions of the Barrens have grown lush and the passage into Mulgore has been reinforced by the tauren, with high walls and a gate. However, Camp Taurajo has been burned down by the Alliance whore are also setting up a base in the Horde controlled territory.
  • Thousand Needles has been flooded and Shimmering Flats become a lake.
  • Southshore has been destroyed by a tsunami!
  • Eruptions have decimated the landscape of the Stonetalon Mountains spreading the flames of the Charred Vale even further. The goblins have cut through the mountains, forming a valley that leads into Ashenvale. A mountain has also collapsed in the Charred Vale, allowing access to the sea.
  • Darkshore has been flooded and Auberdine destroyed. A new Night Elf town has appeared to the north.
  • Azshara is now a low-level zone for Horde players, directly linked to Orgrimmar via a path carved through the rear to the Goblin city. The zone will be intended for players level 15 and up – expect to see a Goblin version of Mount Rushmore!
  • Once a barren wasteland, the Cataclysm has caused a rift to form in Desolace, allowing water to flood in from the coast and bring life back to the region. However, the region is now being invaded by demons. New flight paths and new quest hubs have been added.
  • The Blasted Lands will also be opened up to the sea. A new Worgen area will be found in the Tainted Scar.
  • And most significantly for the diminutive Alliance players: Gnomes may be able to finally take back Gnomergan as their new capital city.

This means Wow Cataclysm will have completely new quest chains for lower level characters within these changed areas. New challenges must be met by players trying to find their way around the devastated Azeroth. A World of Warcraft Cataclysm guide will be essential. Killer Guides are producing a comprehensive Cataclysm guide so players can conquer this new content more efficiently. Full details of the new zones, quest walk-throughs and maps will be included. It is available for pre-order so get yourself ready now to face the new dangers more effectively than your counterparts!
